VELXELL Started off as a small project back in 2018
It was called ShardBlockz (yes I know, its old fashioned ;-;)
Once the Site was up and running, it had many issues
oh and it lacked support and proper development
It later shutdown in early 2019, in the time it was shut, I learnt HTML,CSS,JS,SQL,Node.JS
Ofcourse something bad happend in 2020 (damn its history now!) Covid-19
This time period lead me to learn C, C+, C++, C#, LUA, and many more languages
In the Summer of 2022(yes its been 4 years since i started)
BlocxPlace became a thing (no it wasnt the first name i chose, It was either ShardBlockz, BlocxPlace, Blocklund, or BlockLand)
Asked my friend to help me with the project, and we even made TIKTOK advertisements to find people to help
Soon enough, we had a small crowd of people and even a small team of 6!
Ofcourse, BlocxPlace never made it out the same year, untill the Summer of 2023
where i have finally got the first Build of BlocxPlace, a Rip-off Popular brick game that actually worked!
now, did i keep supporting blocxplace and it grew? NOPE!
It had soo many issues and the name BlocxPlace just started sounding wrong( thats how often i said it/typed it a day)
Soo, on July 12th, the VELXELL name was thought of, suggested, chosen and registered
Ofcourse the BlocxPlace website (blocxplace.co.uk) was still up untill later that year
Oh and VELXELL was its own independant project, to help people learn to code
July 20th was the closure of BlocxPlace, and the main focus was placed onto velxell
we released the BlocxPlace client (yes it was still called that until v3 of the client) on the 10th of August
oh and we also made a trailer for the game!
We then closed VELXELL 3 days after due to lack of support and rushed api, oh and there wasnt even accounts so everyone was called "Player1,2,3 etc"
I then had the heavy decision, either continue with the client and Rip-off brickgame client, or start from scratch
And you'll easily guess what I chose I started from scratch!
Time flew past and all of a sudden its the Official Release of VELXELL, The Platform Made by you
ofcourse we had no client, accounts, anything really, just some music, a half finished tutorial and a whole new look with no mobile support
If your wondering what i really did in the time VELXELL was closed, not much, work actually started in November which is why it was mostly empty
We did have an appstore, (discontinued April 15th 2024), ofcourse it wasnt packed with stuff
in the First month, We started gaining users on our discord and subreddit
soon enough, many featured started being added, some was removed and ill make a list of them
